Deposits and refunds
What a deposit commits you to, and what happens if a date has to move.
Ethereal Ink Body Art – Brant, Ontario
At Ethereal Ink Body Art, all tattoo appointments require a deposit to secure the booking date and time. By submitting a deposit, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions:
1. Non-Refundable Deposits
All deposits are strictly non-refundable. Deposits compensate the artist for drawing time, consultation time, scheduling allocation, and the reservation of the appointment slot.
The one exception: if Nicolás has to cancel the appointment, the deposit is refunded.
2. Transferability
Deposits may be transferred to a new appointment date only with prior communication and approval from studio management. Transfer requests must comply with the notice requirements outlined below.
Deposits are not transferable to another person without written consent from studio management.
3. 24-Hour Notice Requirement
Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ written notice to reschedule an appointment.
If proper notice is given, the deposit may be transferred to a new appointment date.
Failure to provide at least 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
No-shows automatically forfeit their deposit.
4. Validity Period
Deposits remain valid for 12 months from the original deposit date.
If the deposit is not used within 12 months, it will be considered abandoned and permanently forfeited.
5. Application of Deposit
The deposit will be applied toward the final cost of the tattoo session. Deposits cannot be used toward merchandise or other services unless otherwise approved in writing.
Taxes are not charged online. Applicable taxes are paid at the studio on the day of your session.
6. Nothing Is Shipped
Everything the studio sells is a booking, a deposit against one, or a gift card. Nothing is posted, so there is no shipping, no delivery and nothing to return. Sessions, deposits and gift cards are confirmed by email.
Gift cards are not refundable. They do not expire. A gift card can be used as the deposit for a session, and the card — or what is left on it — toward the price of the session itself.
